I have shot a stoeger and a benelli at the range and made a side by side comparison. Wages do make up some of the differences as the Benelli and Franchi are made in Italy and the Stoeger in Turkey.

Same triggers on the Benellis and Franchis. In terms of cleaning the Franchi Affinity is much simpler and requires fewer tools than the Benelli semi-autos judging by the videos Benelli puts out - I only have first hand experience with the Franchi Affinity. Laser engraving on its hinge cap and belly is light.

Barrels are available in 26 and 28 inches. I would go with the Montefeltro Silver. Thank you for your time.

The actions are pretty much identical. Whats the difference will I be in trouble a year down the road if I buy a Franchi model 612 0r 620 or a Stoeger model 2000. If its the Benelli I may only get the Benelli at this time.

The bottom line is as Buckshot says. Save Reply jugchoke Registered Joined Jan 4 2007 12362 Posts 10 Sep 7 2007 Dont forget material including its source and quality control. I like my Franchi Affinity over the Benelli A300 Autos Pumps are very good it all depends what your needs are.

Ive looked at several shotguns including benellistoeger and franchi. Benelli Montefeltro has better finish and slimmer where-as the Franchi is a bit meatier. Looking at Benelli M1 buds exclusive and Franchi Affinity 3.

You bought a used gun at a good price. Franchis are distinctive because they offer classic Italian artistry mixed with a performance youd expect from a high-grade American shotgun. Benelli is inertia which is like piston driven gun always have a little harder recoil and a little more of a pop and beretta is a s3 gas recoil system usually less recoil and a much smoother recoil less of the pop.

I like the recoil spring around the mag tube on the Franchis for easy access and cleaning. The action on the Franchi is already pretty smooth. But with the MAJOR difference in price tags the win went to Stoeger because I didnt break the bank when I purchased one.

What makes one 500 one 800 and one 1200. Im kind of wondering whats the deal w the stoegers bc they are offering the same recoil system benellis using but at half the price. The inertia systems of the Benelli and Franchi are similar not identical.

What is the difference between the franchi affinity 35 and the franchi intensity 03-04-2018 1044 PM Thinking about getting a new 35inch shotgun. Posted June 7 2009. These semi-automatic shotguns are offered in a variety of sizes gauges finishes weights stocks and even left-handed models.

The differences is in the fit and finish and the quality of materials used. The Benelli are a little more refined but compare apples to apples. Got a lightly used in excellent condition Benelli M1 24 off of gunbroker.

I prefer the L because I love the color casehardened finish and a real-world price around 1000. Why pay more for Benelli. So to start.

Ultimately benelli the company isnt going to mind if you purchase the benelli or franchi as they are all owned by the same company beretta. Id like to keep it under 700. Difference between Franchi and Benelli Posted by DownshiftAndFloorIt on 12113 at 944 am to NorthEnd Im sure a benelli has more stainless and heat treated stuff in it than the lower end franchi and stoeger stuff but in principal they function exactly the same.

The main internal difference between a Benelli and a Franchi inertia gun is that the Franchis have the return spring on the magazine tube where it is easy to inspect and clean while Benellis have. 400 for a semi seems a little cheap Im wondering if it would be about the same reliability as a charles daly semi no offense to anyone. Less than 200 price difference.

Leaning Benelli just for the name although I know that Affinity is made at the same plant. The L model is mechanically identical except its a pound heavier as mandated by its steel receiver. Franchi and Benelli are part of the Beretta group.

As others have mentioned the main differences are comfortech action spring in the stock vs forearm and generally a more polished gun. Whether thats worth more to you is your decision. Now dont get me wrong Im not saying Franchis are bad guns for their sometimes 600 price you cant beat them for a duck gun that gets thrown around in the boat but for 100 - no questions buy the Benelli.

I understand they are all using the inertia driven recoil techno. Hey looking to buy a shotgun but cant spend very much. Recoil is no better or worse on the Benelli vs the Franchi and the 12ga isnt even bad.

If youre considering a Franchi you owe it to yourself to take a look at a new Stoeger 2000 form everything that I have read they are almost identical to the Franchi and have actually performed better. I love my Benelli and I just couldnt justify buying the Franchi at 100 less. Both shotguns use the Benelli system action.

The new guns have a red high vis front sight and a ramped rib. Franchi Benelli and Stoeger are all subsidiaries of Beretta. Out of that list if you were to choose two what would they be leaving out the Benelli.

What do you think. Oh and hundreds of more dollars for the Benelli of course.
